The SHAPE Box - Tracing, collaging & discovering art through the world of shapes

THE SHAPE BOX

Before a child can write, they need strong hands. And there's no better way to build them than through scissors, paper & a whole lot of creative play.

Inspired by the life and art of Henri Matisse, the Shape Box blends visual art, cutting practice & early literacy into one hands-on learning experience. Children cut, trace, glue & arrange shapes — building the fine motor foundation that pencil control & preschool writing grow from. Every activity is open-ended, developmentally appropriate & designed to feel like art, not work.
